This dish is a tasty twist on the classic avocado toast, made by combining mashed ripe avocado with a spicy and flavourful harissa paste.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large slices of sourdough (or rustic-style) bread
  • 2 mushrooms, sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Al’FezTM Harissa Paste, divided
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Sesame seeds
  • ½ tbsp fresh thyme leaves

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Toast or grill the bread.
  2. Brown the mushrooms in a pan with hot oil, about 3-4 min.
  3. Spread half of the Al’FezTM Harissa Paste on the toasted slices and top with avocado.
  4. Add the mushrooms and the rest of the Al’FezTM Harissa Paste.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh thyme.
