Harissa Chicken with Moroccan Spiced Couscous

Looking to add a little extra heat? Try this Harissa Chicken recipe served over a bed of fresh couscous.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. boneless chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 jar Al’FezTM Harissa Chicken Sauce
  • 1 box Al’FezTM Moroccan Spiced Couscous
  • 1 ¼ cup boiling water or stock
  • Fresh coriander, chopped (for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a heated pan, add oil and chicken, and lightly brown for 5 min.
  2. Add the Al’FezTM Harissa Chicken Sauce and simmer until cooked through, about 20 min.
  3. In a heatproof bowl, add Al’FezTM Moroccan Spiced Couscous and boiling water (or stock).
  4. Cover and let sit for 5 min. Uncover the couscous and use a fork to loosen the grains
  5. Serve chicken over couscous. Garnish with fresh coriander.
