Our delicious Hummus is a popular Middle Eastern dip made from chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil.

RECIPE CALLS FOR

NATURAL TAHINI

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 – 14 oz. cans chickpeas (reserve 7 tbsp of liquid and a few beans for garnish)
  • 4 tsp Al’FezTM Natural Tahini
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 ½ tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • Extra virgin olive oil, to taste
  • Paprika (for garnish)
  • Fresh coriander (for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Rinse the chickpeas in cold water and add to bowl of food processor.
  2. Add Al’FezTM Natural Tahini, garlic, salt, lemon juice, and 7 tbsp of the reserved liquid from the cans.
  3. Turn on the food processor and slowly pour in the oil. Process until smooth.
  4. Transfer into a serving dish. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and garnish with a few chickpeas.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika and fresh coriander.
