Moroccan Meatball with Moroccan Spiced Couscous

An aromatic tomato-based dish enriched with a blend of spices to complement the classic Moroccan Meatball dish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 meatballs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 jar Al’FezTM Moroccan Meatball Sauce
  • 1 box Al’FezTM Moroccan Spiced Couscous
  • 1 ¼ cup boiling water or stock
  • Fresh coriander, chopped (for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a heated pan (or in the oven), brown the meatballs in oil, about 5 min.
  2. Add the Al’FezTM Moroccan Meatball Sauce and simmer until the meatballs are cooked, about 20 minutes.
  3. In a heatproof bowl, add Al’FezTM Moroccan Spiced Couscous and boiling water (or stock).
  4. Cover and let sit for 5 min. Uncover the couscous and use a fork to loosen the grains.
  5. Serve meatballs over couscous. Garnish with fresh coriander.
